Via Hubble: The cosmic "ice sculptures" of the Carina Nebula. Scientists are still trying to explain the beautiful spires.A nebula from Latin: "cloud"is an interstellar cloud of dust, hydrogen, helium and other ionized gases. Originally, nebula was a name for any diffuse astronomical object, including galaxies beyond the Milky Way.

Having viewed many different types nebula(s) of all shapes and sizes throughout the years I am always totally 'blown away' on how diverse they are in there beauty. If it is 'fake' --- I really don't care. I look at the beauty of the unknowable. This is not the most unusual of the nebula(s) that I've seen. The universe and all its component parts is FANTASTIC --- fake or not.

The Heart Nebula, IC 1805, Sh2-190, lies some 7500 light years away from Earth and is located in the Perseus Arm of the Galaxy in the constellation Cassiopeia. This is an emission nebula showing glowing gas and darker dust lanes. The nebula is formed by plasma of ionized hydrogen and free electrons.
~~Dust and the Helix Nebula ~ Dust makes this cosmic eye look red. The eerie Spitzer Space Telescope image shows infrared radiation from the well-studied Helix Nebula (NGC 7293) a mere 700 light-years away in the constellation Aquarius | Nasa.gov~~
